Marie de Montpellier (in France) is translating two more of my poems into French. She's already done two others. Her current choices are one from Desire ("Forgetting You") and one from Counting Fingers, Smelting Light ("Remembering Ricky"). I am very excited, pleased and honored. YAY! :-D Woohoo!

i'm sick as usual but hanging in. life goes on and on as if it wants something. i have a book of poems in mind. but i'm tired. need to try to exercise a little.

I think it's very difficult to translate a poem into French. It is a language with many nuances!

Unfortunately, I'm not that good with French. But I know Marie had trouble with some of the words and meanings not having direct equivalents.
It's sich an interesting process.
